People in Vanderburgh County hoped to learn more about a proposed far west side development.
Instead, the Westside Improvement Association refined its opposition to a 'majestic place' type of development.
Chairman Michael Lockard says their group is not 'anti-development,' they just want to see traffic studies done and infrastructure improvements made before any new traffic is introduced to the interchange outside the University of Southern Indiana where the proposed commercial development would go.
They also want a say in what the proposed structures look like, asking for something similar to the Greatland Target complex on the east side, with a nice facade and tree islands.
They say they'll take their concerns to the area plan commissions on April 11.
