An Evansville neighborhood is seeing progress.
Following an extensive research study, Jacobsville-Join-In announced on Thursday, a plan for revitalization.
They'll be offering small grants up to $1,000 for neighbors and organizations.
The money can be used to litter clean-ups, block parties, even planting gardens.
"I'm hoping that more organizations and businesses, especially in this neighborhood, will step forward and donate more funds for these early action grants," says Jennifer Mason. "So that we can continue to do more projects with the neighbors."
The grants will be approved by May.
