Cannabis scented cards are being distributed in London to help witnesses identify possible urban pot farms. (Source: CNN)LONDON (CNN) - Scratch 'n' sniff marijuana cards are the latest means law enforcement in London have come up with to help solve the growing marijuana problem.
A charity called Crimestoppers has produced scented cannabis cards to help residents identify and report urban marijuana farms. The cards resemble lottery tickets and emit the smell of marijuana plants in the grow stage.
UK authorities said they are not interested in individuals who might have a pot plant in their window, but do want to bust organized crime grow houses that produce the plants in huge volume.
Witnesses are also advised to be aware of single neighbors who don't go out of the house much, blacked-out windows, high heat and a lot of condensation on the windows.
