NEW YORK (CNN/WLKS) - A New York bankruptcy judge has cleared the way for the sale of Twinkies, Wonder Bread and Hostess Brands' other assets.
A joint venture of private equity firms bought Hostess snacks, including Twinkies, Ho-Hos, Ding Dongs and Zingers for $410 million.
The products should be back on store shelves this summer.
Flower Foods purchased Wonder Bread and most of Hostess' other bread brands for $360 million.
There's no word yet on when those breads might be back in stores.
Hostess went out of business during a strike by members of its bakers union.
