The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office has arrested two people who allegedly beat and robbed a woman in northern Vanderburgh County earlier this month.

On March 10th, shortly after 1 AM, the victim sought treatment for injuries at a local hospital.

She told Sheriff's Office investigators around 11:45 PM on the 9th, she was going to her car parked at a home in the 15,000 block of Old Petersburg Rd. when she was assaulted and robbed.

The victim stated that her assailants, a man and a woman, held her down, kicked and beat her using brass knuckles. They stole her purse and cell phone and fled the scene. The victim received medical treatment for her injuries including stitches to cuts on her head.

The victim was able to identify both assailants as 24-year-old Justin Michael Vallee and 24-year-old Cierra Dione Greene.

Officials say arrest warrants were obtained and with the assistance of the US Marshal Fugitive Task Force, Vallee and Greene were arrested without incident Monday evening. They are each currently being held in the Vanderburgh County Detention Center on $5,000 bond awaiting a court appearance.
