MUHLENBERG CO., KY (WFIE) -
Kentucky State Police say they are investigating a bomb threat at Muhlenberg South Middle School.
On Monday around 2:30 p.m., the KSP Post 2 Madisonville was contacted by
Muhlenberg County Board of Education School Resource Officer Mike Drake in
reference to a bomb threat at Muhlenberg South Middle School located at 200
Pritchett Drive in Greenville.
A threat indicating that there was a bomb in
the school had been discovered written on a wall of a boy's bathroom stall.
Emergency personnel from several
agencies responded to the scene, and students were evacuated from the
school.
A search of the school was conducted by officers
and a canine from the KSP Special Operations Section, and no
explosives or explosive devices were located.

A KSP Detective is
continuing the investigation.
