MUHLENBERG CO., KY (WFIE) -
A Greenville, KY woman has been arrested in Muhlenberg County, accused of huffing canned air and crashing her car in a parking lot.
Kentucky State Police say they investigated a single-vehicle, injury
crash involving an impaired driver that occurred in the parking lot of
Harkins Station, just west of Greenville, on Sunday a little after 1:30 p.m.
The investigation revealed that Stephanie D. Townsell,
33 of Greenville, KY, was operating a Chrysler passenger car
southbound through the Harkins Station parking lot when she lost control of the
vehicle and struck a pole.
Townsell, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital where she was treated and
released.
She was determined to be under the influence of canned,
compressed air; commonly referred to as "dusting" and charged with DUI, operating on a suspended/revoked operator's license, and failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance.
She was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
