It seems you can never be too prepared for college.
For soon to be college freshmen, the Kentucky High Education Assistance Authority has a free online guide to surviving the first year of college.
The 36-page booklet contains information on majors, healthy study habits, time management skills, and how to handle the costs of a higher education.
"Kentucky has a big emphasis right now on college and career readiness," says Lori Harrison, with the Hopkins County Schools. "And ideally, students would be ready for both of those. This booklet does seem like it has a lot of practical information that would be good for them to help them as they are trying to stay in college."
