Foul play suspected in Boone County missing person case

BOONE COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -

Investigators suspect foul play in the case of missing Boone County man.

Terry Hand was reported missing on January 8, 2013.

Detectives in the case have interviewed nearly 50 of Hand's family, friends, co-workers and acquaintances in an effort to determine his whereabouts. 

Investigators say Hand's sudden disappearance is totally uncharacteristic of him.  No one has heard from him since January 6, 2013 and now his birthday has come and gone, again without anyone hearing from him.

Hand is 6'04", 300 pound description has been checked at area jails, hospitals, and shared with other law enforcement agencies that might have discovered an unidentified deceased person to no avail.

Anyone who might have information concerning Terry Hand's location is asked to call either the Boone County Sheriff's Office at (859) 334-2175 or Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
