Rock & Roll up your sleeve to give blood

Blood donation is a priceless gift of hope for patients in need. On Monday, March 18th, blood donors are asked to roll up their sleeve and give the gift of life to others at the Rock & Roll Up Your Sleeve Blood Drive.  Donated blood will help meet the needs of 19 local hospitals and could also help those traveling outside the community for medical care.

"For the Rock & Roll up Your Sleeve Blood Drive this year, our goal is to collect more than 75 pints of lifesaving blood," said Amy Canterbury, Regional CEO, American Red Cross. "We would like to encourage all eligible blood donors in the community and surrounding area to schedule their appointments now, and help ensure a sufficient blood supply for patients in need," she added.
