LETCHER COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - A Kentucky mother of two was found dead on the side of the road and police said have arrest her husband in connection to her death.

According to police, Connie Elswick's body was discovered along Kentucky 3410.

Connie Elswick married her long time boyfriend, Roger Elswick in 2012.

Police reports said the couple had a fight and he "got into his vehicle to leave." He claims his wife "jumped onto the trunk of his car" and he drove away with her on the trunk. Eventually Elswick said he pulled into a parking lot and she jumped off the car.

Investigators said it is equally possible she fell.

Roger Elswick is charged with wanton endangerment.
