The U.S. Chamber of Commerce National Chamber Foundation is hosting a hiring fair for veterans and military spouses. It kicks off Wednesday, March 15th in Washington D.C. Officials say it is a one-of-a kind hiring fair for both employers and job seekers.
Veterans can get help writing resumes and interview tips; translating military skills, experience, and training into related civilian careers; and finding current lists of employment opportunities with militiary-friendly employers.

March 28, 2013 - Akron, OH
April 4, 2013 - Dearborn, MI
April 4, 2013 - Joliet, IL
Hiring Our Heroes was launched in March 2011 as a nationwide initiative to help veterans and military spouses find meaningful employment. Working with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's network of 1600 state and local chambers and other strategic partners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
Hiring Our Heroes has hosted more than 400 hiring fairs in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia.
More than 14,100 veterans and military spouses have obtained jobs.
