Mueller found guilty of murdering Cedric Watt

On Thursday, Ted Mueller Jr. was found guilty of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery resulting in severe bodily injury in an Evansville courtroom.

Last September 22-year-old Mueller and a man named Christopher Kenneth Bell, both of Evansville, were arrested and charged with the murder of 24-year-old Cedric Watt of Henderson.

Police say the two men inside the Vanderburgh County Jail, planned to rob Cedric Watt, and according to the probable cause affidavit, two people who witnessed the shooting told police Mueller is the one that pulled the trigger.

The Sentencing date is set for April 16.
