The Indianapolis Colts have agreed to deals with four free agents.

Less than two hours after the free agency market opened, the Colts had deals in place with offensive linemen Gosder Cherilus and Donald Thomas, cornerback Greg Toler and linebacker Erik Walden. The team confirmed the deals on its website, but did not provide terms.

Cherilus is a 6-foot-7, 325-pound right tackle who played for the Lions. Thomas is a 6-4, 305-pound tackle who played with the Patriots. Both should help protect quarterback Andrew Luck, who was sacked far too often for the Colts last season.

Walden provides help in the 3-4 defense and Toler could become a starter in a secondary that struggled, too.
