Funerals set for 3 teens killed in SE Ind. crash

Funerals have been scheduled for three high school students who were killed when two pickup trucks collided in southeastern Indiana.

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday for 18-year-old Jacob Russell Vogel at St. Charles Catholic Church in Milan.

Funeral services for 17-year-old Timothy Curtis Bowman of Osgood will be held Tuesday at Hopewell Baptist Church, and the funeral for 18-year-old Samantha Rae Hansen of Holton will be held the following day at the same church.

The three South Ripley High School students had participated in an Indiana FFA Association event at the church Thursday morning before the crash that also left three other students hospitalized.

Indiana State Police Sgt. Noel Houze says investigators expect to release further information about the crash Monday after meeting with a crash reconstructionist.
