Two people were arrested late Saturday night in Ohio County on several drug charges.

Kentucky State Police, along with the Ohio County Sheriff's Department, responded to Tyler Road, a little before 11:00 Saturday night, after receiving information of possible drug activity at a residence. Upon arriving, several subjects fled from the house.

Ohio County canine unit tracked and located Kyle Puckett, of Hartford.

Kentucky State Police say they then located an active one-step methamphetamine lab in a storage building behind the house, and methamphetamine, meth precursors and drug paraphernalia were located inside the home.

Both, Puckett and Rebekah Calloway, of Beaver Dam, were arrested and transported to the Ohio County Detention Center.

Puckett was arrested on charges of manufacturing meth and fleeing/evading. Calloway is facing charges of manufacturing meth, unlawful possession of meth precursor, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kentucky State Police say they are actively continuing the investigation and future arrests are possible.
