Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament tips off at noon

The Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament tips off at noon on Thursday and will go through the weekend, with finals on Sunday.

Of course, both USI and Kentucky Wesleyan College are playing, and this time it's men first.

Thursday night, USI has the prime time game against Lewis University at 8:30 p.m.

Kentucky Wesleyan College plays just before them at 6 o'clock against Wisconsin-Parkside.

Tomorrow, women take the court. KWC has the noon tip off against Indy.

The last time the tournament was held in Evansville was 2007, and that was back at Roberts Stadium.

This will be the first time in the new Ford Center.  Plenty of tickets are still available.

14 News is going to be there for all of it, from opening tip off to the final buzzer and we'll have all the highlights for you so stay tuned.

If you're wondering what to do between games, there's a new GLVC festival taking place this weekend as well.

The first ever "March on Main" starts Thursday and lasts through the weekend.

You can pick up a free lanyard and any time you go into one of the 13 participating downtown businesses you get a stamp.

If you get five stamps, you have a chance to win $100 during a drawing on Monday.

The event is also family friendly and will include inflatables.
