"Building upon the many accomplishments of Keep Evansville Beautiful, I look forward to working with our community leaders, partners and volunteers to create clean, thriving and vibrant public places for our community and visitors."
Jim Beck, KEB's Board President, said the board did an extensive search before deciding on Dowell, who has nearly two decades of experience as a successful communicator and strategic planner.
"Marcia brings a wealth of experience that will assist our organization in promoting the important role that our agency plays in making Evansville an even better place to live and work," Beck said. "She has deep knowledge about our community with a proven record of collaboration that gets quantifiable results."
