Many Tri-State roads slick, use caution in your Wednesday morning commute

Posted: Updated:
TRI-STATE (WFIE) -

It may be spring, but winter is not done with us yet.

Several counties in Indiana and western Kentucky saw light snow accumulations overnight.

Gibson County dispatch told us earlier that they've gotten calls that I-69 near the Pike County line is very slick Wednesday morning.

The northern counties seem to have gotten the brunt of this. In Evansville earlier, there were only a few flurries and we didn't see much snow on the ground.

We also talked to Knox, Daviess, Pike and Dubois Dispatches, they all tell us roads are very slick, but haven't had any problems.

The temperatures are still at freezing if not colder in areas, so this ice won't be melting fast. Make sure you keep that in mind as you're driving to work.
