A Warrick County employee is out of jail on Tuesday night after being arrested on drug charges.

During a routine traffic stop Monday afternoon along Bullock Town Road, Warrick County Sheriff Brett Kruse says deputies found meth-making items inside 39-year-old Jason Baxter's vehicle.

Baxter is a deputy surveyor with the county surveyor's office.

Kruse says deputies then served a search warrant at Baxter's home and found meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

An employee at the surveyor's office says Jason Baxter was at work on Tuesday and has not been suspended.
