Monday night starts the search for a new School Superintendent for the Hopkins County Board of Education.
Current Superintendent, James Stevens, announced Thursday he will be retiring no later than June 30.
A group will come up with a list of prospective candidates who will be interviewed by a six-person committee who will then make recommendations to the Board of Education.
"I'm thankful for the many student's I've touched, my employees who are the greatest employees in the world, the community and the parents for their support," says Stevens.
The selection process will likely take 8-10 weeks.
