Some new businesses will soon be coming to Corydon, Kentucky.
Mayor Philip Brewster, Jr. says crews are at work leveling two lots where a house had burned down a few years ago.
Brewster tells 14News local couple Tim and Joda Southard purchased those lots to open a storage facility business.
Brewster also says the city has also now sold the old Corydon school building.
He tells 14News a former Henderson County resident who now lives in Webster bought the building and is planning on rezoning it for business use.
"It can obviously do nothing but bring customers through here and get them stopping," says Brewster.
Brewster says the old school went for $65,000.
After paying money owed on the building and auction fees, the city made around $3,000 off the sale.
