Both the Perry and Spencer County Sheriff's Offices have concluded an investigation of a string of burglaries at multiple storage unites around bouth counties.

Spencer County Detective, Chris King says the burglaries happened at the beginning of this year.

King says suspects Clarence Wayne Horsley and Joseph Edward Cronin broke into over 30 unites across Santa Claus, Reo, Grandview, Rockport, and Tell City.

King says the investigation has been difficult since renters have not been able to identify what exactly was stolen from them.

The suspects were captured on tape by security cameras at 'Storage Station' in Reo and their vehicle was identified at one of the break-ins.

"They were seen in Grandview," says Detective King. "And that was one of the reasons we developed them as a suspect. There was a vehicle seen leaving the scene. No one saw these guys individually, but they did see a vehicle that we ended up being able to find out that those guys had access to."

King says both suspects are already being held in the Perry County Jail, on charges related to a home burglary.
