POSEY CO., IN (WFIE) -

Mt Vernon's Fire Chief tells 14 News the Posey County Co-Op fire has been ruled accidental.

The fire happened on Wednesday morning at the Posey County Co-Op on W. 4th Street in Mt. Vernon.

Firefighters say it took 45 minutes to get the fire under control, because the hydrants didn't have enough water pressure.

We also now know that the fire started in an office in the building.

Owners say they've lost about $1 million worth of the equipment, including the building itself.
