JONESBORO, Ark. (AStateRedWolves.com) – The Arkansas State women's bowling team is ranked fourth in the most recent version of the National Tenpin Coaches Association Media Poll.

The Red Wolves received 242 points in the poll and were 18 points shy of No. 3 Nebraska's 260 points and two first place votes.  Central Missouri claimed the No. 1 spot with 302 points and six first place votes while Maryland-Eastern Shore was second in the poll with 292 points and two first place votes.  Vanderbilt finished eight points behind A-State with 234 to take the fifth spot in the poll.

The poll was voted on before ASU claimed its first tournament title of the season Sunday by winning the Holiday City Classic in Bessemer, Ala.  A-State's record now stands at 66-22 and the Red Wolves have not finished lower than fourth in any tournament this season.

Arkansas State returns to action March 1-3 at the Greater Ozarks Invitational hosted by Central Missouri in Kansas City, Mo.
