Semi knocks out power in parts of Owensboro

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

A semi hit a utility pole and cut power to some areas of Owensboro Tuesday night.

It happened around 10:15 p.m. on W. 9th near Locust.

Owensboro Municipal Utilities officials tell 14 News 1500 customers were out of power at one point.

Crews were able to restore electricity to 1200 customers around 11:00 p.m, another 200 by 11:30 p.m. and the last 100 by 3:15 a.m.
