Argo Wins Best Picture

After being snubbed for a best director nomination, Ben Affleck's "Argo," has risen to the top, winning the Oscar for best picture. Oscar voters spread yesterday's honors among a range of films, with "Argo" winning three trophies but "Life of Pi" leading with four. Lincoln's Daniel Day-Lewis became the first person to win three best-actor Oscars. Jennifer Lawrence triumphed as best actress for "Silver Linings Playbook." Ang Lee won best director for "Life of Pi."We'll have an Oscar wrap on Sunrise.

Winter Storm

Just days after the middle of the country was pounded by a massive winter storm, more severe snow and ice is expected in the region today.  It looks like just rain in the Tri-state.  Byron has details in his First Alert forecast.

     A multi-million dollar expansion project at the Daviess County Library could take longer to complete.
