EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
There are two Ice Racing World Championships up for grab at the Ford Center this weekend.
It's part of the 37th Annual Ice Racing Series and it is one extreme sport.
The grand finale of the tour means there's major competition that's been built over the last few months and there are some coveted titles being sought after at the Ford Center.
If you aren't familiar with this sport, it's an action packed show featuring motorcycles and four wheelers racing on ice.
14News caught up with Brent Densford, the President of International Championship Events earlier Friday and he says this is their first time in Evansville and they're excited to be here.
"There's an amateur class so some local Evansville people will be racing in some of our amateur classes," says Densford. "Those are a lot of fun to watch. There's a lot of action. A lot of bumping and grinding."
