EVSC needs ideas to take fundraising beyond the bake sale

The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation's Coordinated School Health Team needs your help. They'd like to take their fundraisers past the usual bake sale.

The team is looking to gather a list of fundraising ideas that are easy to manage, yet have a reasonable profit capability.

EVSC says ideal fundraisers will include non-food items such as flowers, plants, mulch, jewelry, etc. and those that include healthy food choices. Fundraisers that involve physical activity also are encouraged.

They'd like to create a resource guide of healthy alternatives for fundraisers made up of area organizations and businesses with items that could be used to raise money for schools.

Companies and organizations that would like to be included in the resource guide are asked to contact Dawn Horton-Krack at 435-0202 or by email at dawn.horton-krack@evsc.k12.in.us by March 1.
