EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Some University of Evansville students took their business ideas to the people today.

UE held it's annual entrepreneurship fair inside the business atrium.

About 10 student-founded businesses showcased their products, from crocheted hats, to flavored popcorns, to imported Spanish shoes.

And it was all for sale.

The students say it's a great way to learn more about starting a new venture.

"There's just so much opportunity that you can, you know, just coming up with an idea," says Jacqueline Burkardt. "This class is just great just for developing that."

"Well we started off just having a couple orders here and there and then it grew from chapter to chapter and then it started word of mouth from there," says Hannah Koller.

The ideas and the fair are part of UE's two-semester entrepreneurship program.
