EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Crews responded to an accident in the eastbound lane of the Lloyd Expressway Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say a car stalled in the middle of the lanes and an SUV rear ended the car. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV was treated and released.

Due to the accident, the eastbound lane at the Main St. exit was shut down for more than an hour to reconstruct the accident and clear the scene.
