The debate over gun control prompted a gun rally at the Indiana Statehouse.

Second amendment supporters are worried that lawmakers will limit their rights.

Dozens of people carrying guns and holding signs picketed in front of the statehouse.

Daniel Stahl took a day off work so he could attend the rally.

"People are taking a stand," says Stahl. "I think they're simply not going to put up with it. We're Americans and we have rights under the constitution, which are being threatened right now. And we have to preserve that. Somebody's got to stand up."

Gun control advocates have also held rallies at the statehouse.

They believe congress should prohibit military-style assault weapons and magazines that hold a large number of bullets.
