Middle school student makes threats using net book - Tri-State News, Weather & Sports

Middle school student accused of making serious online threats

A North Middle School student was in court on Friday accused of a felony count of intimidation.

It is just an allegation at this point; the prosecutor's office must review the case.

EVSC spokesperson, Marsha Jackson tells 14News that 3 students came to the principal about threats they received on their EVSC issued netbooks.

In the probably cause affidavit, those students reportedly told the principal they were afraid of being hurt or even killed.

Jackson tells us the student was detained in the Youth Care Center overnight.

We're told taking a student to YCC is protocol for that type of situation.
