After 27 years with Indiana State Police, Master Trooper Frank Coleman is taking a new job as Mayor of Petersburg.

Former Mayor Jon Craig resigned from his post in January to join Governor Mike Pence's team.

They held a special caucus on February 2nd to choose the next mayor from six candidates.

Coleman was selected and will be sworn in on February 22nd.
