We have an important update for those of you who have been patiently waiting for your Girl Scout cookies.
The shipment of cookies arrived last week, and the precious boxes are being stored until next week. That's when the girls can pick up their orders and start delivering them.
On Wednesday, they shipped some cookies to the Girl Scout Center, so girls can go ahead and pick up boxes to get ready for their cookie booths.
"Cookie booths will start as early as February 12th which is Tuesday. They are all over the 11 counties. From Daviess County to Dubois County to Knox, Vanderburgh, Posey, Pike. They're everywhere," said Melissa Rynkiewich with the Girl Scouts.
The cookies that are in town now equate to over 35,000 cases. They say that is just the first shipment. In case you're wondering, that breaks down to more than 430,000 boxes of cookies.
