GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) -

Commissioners in Gibson County are asking for nearly $1.2 million from the Patoka Union Township "TIF" district to buy ambulances, squad cars and dump trucks, as well as pave a road that gets a lot of Toyota traffic.

That's according to our media partner, the Princeton Daily Clarion.

Commissioners want to submit the proposal to the redevelopment commission.

Bruce Fisher, a member of the redevelopment board, says the district has already appropriated $1.8 million for the Gibson County Warehousing and Vuteq expansions in recent months.
