TRI-STATE (WFIE) -

A fast-moving system brought up to 2 inches of snow for parts of the Tri-State over night.

14 News found snow plows working throughout Henderson County Sunday morning, clearing slick spots and putting down a layer of salt.

Kentucky Transportation officials say the pavement temperature is teetering at the freezing mark, causing the slushy snow to turn to ice in some areas.

They remind drivers that overpasses and bridges will be the first to refreeze Sunday night and to use caution.
