Three people have been arrested after at least one person was stabbed in a home invasion in Union County on Friday night.
Morganfield Police say Joshua Brown, 22, Damian Berkel, 18, and Michael Bright, 19, are now charged with burglary and assault.
Police say they broke into a home Friday night on N. Morgan Street, where two people were inside the home. Officers say two of the suspects began beating one of the victims.
They say the second victim tried to help her, but was stabbed in the neck by the third suspect.
The stabbed victim was able to get away and call for help.
A neighbor tells 14 News he was startled by a knocking at his door Friday night. When he opened it, he says there was a man that had been stabbed and was bleeding from this neck.
He says the man asked if he could use the phone to call 911.
