GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) -

Authorities say they arrested a drunk driver after she left the scene of a property damage accident and led officers on a short chase.

On Saturday around 11:30 a.m., Princeton Police Department was dispatched to Maidlow's Liquor Store on N. Second St., in reference to a white SUV that had struck the guardrail on the Brumfield overpass.

An officer located the vehicle at the Maidlow's Liquor Store and approached the driver, 39-year-old Tina M. Holderfield, of Princeton. When she saw the officer coming, Holderfield jumped back into the driver's seat of the vehicle and began to drive off, as the officer continued ordering her to stop.

Holderfield drove away and continued to ignore the officers emergency lights and siren, and continued westbound on State Road 64 through Princeton.

Holderfield pulled into the Princeton Wal-Mart parking lot from State Road 64 and drove through the parking lot to front before coming to a stop.

Sheriff's deputies and officers quickly took Holderfield into custody without further incident.

Holderfield was transported to a local hospital prior to being transported to the Gibson County Jail on a $2,200 cash bond.

A chemical test of blood alcohol was completed and Holderfield tested over four times the legal limit with a BAC: 0.35%
