St. Mary's Hospital participated today in the 10th Annual 'Go Red for Women' Day.
The campaign is held to raise awareness about heart disease among women.
Vice President of Cardio-Vascular Services, Jan Ernest, says many people believe breast cancer to be the number one killer of women.
But she says statistics show heart disease is the most deadly.
In order to raise awareness, Ernest says the hospital has posted signs and symptoms of heart disease all over campus and she says if anyone identifies with these symptoms, they need to seek medical attention.
