Posted: Updated:

Evansville-based Atlas Van Lines celebrated its partnership with non-profit "Move For Hunger" by hosting a food drive last Friday in Evansville.

The results? 3,050 pounds of food and more than $850 donated to Tri-State Food Bank.

Atlas Headquarters’ kick-off food drive provided meals to families and individuals in 33 counties across Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois.

To date, Atlas and its agents have contributed more than 32,273 pounds of non-perishable food to local food banks across the U.S.

You're still encouraged to donate purchased or unused food items most needed at the Tri-State Food Bank, such as cereal, soup, veggies, pasta, rice and peanut butter.

Move For Hunger is a non-profit who fights nation wide hunger by gathering and delivering food to local food banks.
