A local recording artist will perform the national anthem at the Evansville Crush soccer game on Saturday, but that's not likely why you will remember him.
Hoosier Tim Ash has written and recorded a song which he hopes will become something of an anthem for the Thumbs up for Lane Childhood Cancer Foundation. The song is called "Thumbs Up" and you will be able to hear it for the first time publicly at this weekends Evansville Crush game.
It's also the first time Tim says he'll get to meet Lane's parents.
Tim is about to launch an 80 stop tour with his latest album "Round 3" - which includes the "Thumbs Up" track. Proceeds from the sale of the song will go to lane's foundation- which seeks to find a cure for childhood cancer.
You can check it all out this weekend:
What: Evansville Crush VS Paducah Premier
