EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
It's known as the 'Roseanne' house and it's up for sale.
The Evansville home on Runnymeade Avenue is shown in the opening of the TV Sitcom.
The listing is through FC Tucker and is on Evansville's east side, right by Memorial High School, just off Lincoln Avenue.
619 S. Runnymeade is easily Joyce Lawrence's most famous listing.
"People were outside taking pictures and they thought they were there to view the home, but really, they were just coming by to take pictures because they knew it was the Roseanne home," says Lawrence.
Of course Roseanne Barr never actually lived here, but her hit show convinced America the yellow bungalow was her TV home.
In reality, Vicki Keach says the Roseanne house belonged to her best friend's family and living down the street gave Vicki her own tiny claim to fame.
"One of the episodes when it was snowing, they showed the whole neighborhood and they showed our car in the driveway," says Keach.
The Roseanne show wrapped in the late 90s, and since then, the house built in 1925 hasn't changed much from the outside.
Inside though, it's a different story.
"There is all new flooring all the way through, the kitchen's been totally remodeled," says Lawrence. "You have tile floors, has a whirlpool tub."
It's listed as a four bedroom, two bath and just under 2,000 sq. ft.
Perfect for UE students, or a family like the one Vicki Keach spent so much time with.
"It's pretty near that it's stayed the same. I'm glad it hasn't changed much."
