LAWRENCEBURG, IN (WAVE) - A southern Indiana teenager who went for the gold is bringing it home.

Nick Goepper won gold medal in the ski slope-style event during the Aspen X-Games on Sunday.

Goepper grew up in the Lawrenceburg area was a regular at Perfect North.

Officials at Perfect North said Goepper still comes back to Indiana to ski and they are very proud he won the gold.
