GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) -

A Cynthiana man was injured when his pickup truck rolled over during an accident early Saturday morning.

Around 2:00 a.m., Indiana State Police say 22-year-old Aaron Ripple was driving westbound on CR 1300 South near Barton Road.

ISP says Ripple failed to follow a curve and drove off the roadway into a field on the north side. They say the vehicle rolled at least twice and came to a rest on the driver's side.

Ripple was taken to Deaconess Hospital to be treated for a non-life threatening head injury.

Trooper Chris Dyer says, "Alcohol and speed were factors in this crash."

ISP says the investigation is continuing.
