SPENCER COUNTY, IN (WFIE) -
Sometimes going to Facebook can be discouraging. A lot of nastiness, negativity, hateful comments, and sometimes its aimed at this community.
But, check this out: On Monday, we put of a post on our Facebook page about a young man in Spencer County who is fighting Leukemia.
It's a great picture, and we only asked you LIKE the post to give Isaac some encouragement.
His uncle asked us to post it, just to give him a smile.
Right now, that post has close to a million likes and it has gone viral around the world.
His page has gone from 1,000 to 62,000 likes in less than a week. That's over 10,000 more than 14 News currently has!
When the people of the Tri-State show genuine kindness like this, it makes me proud to be a part of this community. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity... and cheering up my Facebook page.
