TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A man charged with luring a young girl into his car is out of jail Thursday.

Police say Washington McGee, 49, picked up a young girl walking to school Wednesday near Ashland and Columbia in central Toledo.

The little girl was not physically harmed.

According to police, McGee spotted the little girl walking to school on Ashland and told her he would give her a ride to school. Police say he then drove her to McDonald's, bought her some food and kissed her on the lips before dropping her off at school, telling her he would return to pick her up.

Police say McGee admitted to everything but kissing the girl.

He has been charged with a misdemeanor for child enticement.

Police say this is a good opportunity for parents to remind their kids about the danger of going anywhere with strangers.
