The ATF has stepped in to help Evansville Police Department find the paper towel robber.

The suspect uses a paper towel to cover this face, and is suspected in a string of armed robberies in Evansville.

Police believe the suspect has committed robberies at Hacienda, Sally Beauty Supply, Premiere Tan, and Burger King.

The suspect displayed a handgun in three of the robberies. But what has authorities really concerened is how brazen the suspect is getting.

"Some of the other ones were businesses who just had female employees. The Burger King had a male employee. The chance of there being customers in the Burger King was a little bit higher than some of the other businesses might have been. Then again with the more confrontational given the employee's instructions to go into the cooler as opposed to the previous ones where he just said give me the money and then he would leave," said Sgt. Jason Cullum with EPD.

He is described as a white male, 5"07'-5"08', and medium build. The suspect covered his face with a paper towel during the robberies.

A reward of up to $5,000 will be given for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call the ATF office at 812-461-5005 or Evansville Police at 812-436-7979.
