HOUSTON, TX (KLTV) -
Authorities report at least three people have been shot at the Lone Star College North Campus in north Houston, located at 2700 West Thorne Drive.
According to school officials, two students were shot in a crossfire between two gunmen.
One person is in police custody and another suspect is still at large. Law enforcement officers are actively seeking the second suspect.
Aerial footage showed emergency personnel attending to people on stretchers and at least one being taken into an ambulance. Others could be seen running from a building led by officers.
CNN reports that FBI and ATF officials are en route to the campus at this time.
Several Aldine ISD schools near the campus are also on lockdown.
As of 2011, over 18,000 students attended the North Harris campus. The Lone Star College system is the largest community college in the state.
