Still no 90s in NC, but rain returns this weekend

Updated:
This July is going to end up having more days below 90 than above and the cool weather will last into August.

High pressure today will keep us comfortable and will continue with the nice temperatures.  Our highs will be in the middle 80s, below the normal high of 90. Skies will be mostly to partly sunny.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with pleasant lows back into the middle 60s.

Thursday will be partly sunny, a little warmer and a little more humid; but still below normal and pleasant for this time of year.  Highs will be around 87.

Friday will have more clouds and there could be a couple showers around.  The highs will stay in check with the clouds; the high should be in the lower 80s.

It looks like the weekend will be more unsettled with mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers and storms possible.  Temperatures will still be cooler than normal too, topping out in the lower to mid 80s.

Monday could still have a few showers and storms possible.  Expect highs in the middle 80s with a mix of clouds and some sun.  Tuesday will be partly sunny with a slight risk of a shower or storm.  Highs will continue in the 80s with a high of 87.
